Hanukkah’s Theology and Themes


Like Passover, Hanukkah is a holiday that celebrates the liberation from oppression. It also provides a strong argument in favor of freedom of worship and religion. In spite of the human action that is commemorated, never far from the surface is the theology that the liberation was possible only thanks to the miraculous support of the Divine.

Hey Greg, Sorry to bother you but after watching this, I watched Mark on his Monday's show and they disabled comments. They mentioned Kanye West and How he might fall or isn't perfect etc. When I listen to you or Mark or Kanye, I have to ask myself: "Is that God speaking through them? Or are they being influenced by their upbringing, or their experiences in life?"
People fall God needs to heal them and bring him back to him. If you see your brother or sister sin, pray, use the Spirit, the power, the word to bring them back and be healed. The prayer of Faith will heal their souls. We live not by each others words but by every word of God. What did God say through Kanye? What is Kanye's calling?" What word did God give to Kanye?" "Use the Gospel for protection!" #usethegospelforprotection. As the body of Christ we should say this together in unity with Kanye, that is the Spirit of Jesus in Kanye!
