When government is run by servant leaders like William Bradford, (governor of Plymouth colony for over 40 yrs) or George Washington (reluctant president, voted in for 2 terms), the people rejoice. We need good people in leadership, we need Christians who will be lead by the Word and Spirit of God to draft good, honest, honorable laws with both justice and mercy. America's founding documents are full of references to the Bible, to Christian principles, even the official documents end with "In the Year of our Lord," to acknowledge the blessings our nations receive come from God. If your campaign or church is about you, you are doing it wrong. We are to govern from the bottom up not the top down.
